Change RDP port on the server

To change RDP port for your server.

1. Login to the server through RDP
2. Go to Start >> click Run >> type regedit >> Ok. Registry Editor window will open.
3. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber.
4. On the Edit menu, click Modify, and then click Decimal.
5. Type the new port number, and then click OK.
6. Quit Registry Editor.
7. Add firewall rule to allow this new port.
7. Restart the computer.
