 Week 1. How To Start Online Business with Netcetera.

Right guys, I’m sure we’ve all sat up and took note of how successful some of these new Online Businesses have become, Uber, Tinder, Eventbrite and many more. I’d love to have a go at starting an online business from scratch. Yep… that’s right, from idea, right the way through to attracting clients, sponsors and potentially advertising and turning the idea into something viable. To make it that little bit more challenging I’m not really a tech person which could be like doing the Tour de France on a BMX, not impossible, but not what you want to be really doing.  Pinterest Graphic – Tips Week3

I’ve had a few ideas and I’ve created a few businesses previously, and made some big mistakes. Some would say failures, but I call them lessons. We’ve heard it said plenty of times, but a fail is the first attempt in learning. 

I’ve set a business up from scratch in Ghana, developing a market, catching malaria (not recommended) and having to converse in Twi. Not easy but we never gave up and achieved what we wanted to do. I’ve sold water filters and glazing and I’ve built a park. Building an online business, well this will be a challenge.

I can’t give too much detail yet, partly because I’m not sure what it will be. I’ve looked at creating an auction site but that’s sort of been done. I thought about ordering takeaways online but that’s been done too. I also had this great idea for a shared ride scheme where people could offer lifts like a taxi, but low and behold someone is now doing this too. I’ve played with the idea of a dating app too but that one brought about suspicion from my wife so I’ll park that idea for now.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be looking at the following :   

Join in with the fun as we learn about all the tech stuff, searching out the online tools that make life easier and getting to grips with promoting a new business through all the social media platforms.

Make your payments easier with Direct Debit

Netcetera is  pleased to announce that we can now accept direct debit payments from all UK customers!

Paying by direct debit makes it much easier to automatically pay your monthly renewal, backed by the safety of the direct debit guarantee.

To setup your Direct Debit online simply follow the on screen instructions when processing your order. The first debit takes a few days to be processed by the bank so if you do wish to switch to a direct debit we recommend doing so when the invoice is generated to prevent the account becoming overdue. Any subsequent payments will be processed automatically in 1-2 days

To change an existing payment to Direct Debit is very easy. Simply click on an unpaid invoice and select Direct Debit as the payment method.
